fiction is an unusual genre of writing. You have to make sure that what
you are writing is plausible. And in some of the stories that are created
by authors, that can be a hard job.
For instance, in Star Trek, how are you meant to explain things like solid holograms and instantaneous live video across light years? That is tricky, and usually it involves the characters using a lot more talk with big long words than is necessary. A lot of this involves physics. And as you might already know, physics is closely related to maths, which is something which you can understand. Aha...... So now you know what this page is about. |
